A training program was carried out in Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District in SIP recently for the purpose of promoting transfer and transformation of research findings from universities and research institutes.

The training program lasted nine days. From Oct 20 to 25, 67 leading researchers from universities and research institutes attended the basic courses online, and from Oct 26 to 28, they participated in the offline learning which comprised lectures by experts and visit to a research institute.

The experts’ lectures offered details about evaluation and consulting services for technology-related economic activities, principles and pathways of technology transfer and commercialization, and successful cases.

At the Suzhou Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology, the trainees learned about the institute’s working mechanism for transfer and commercialization of research outcomes.
